Our Philosophy
Our overarching philosophy of loving God and others carries over into our horse sales as well. We aren't perfect, but we are going to do what is best for the horse and the buyers to the best of our ability. We do it right. The horses consigned with us leave better than when they arrived. We keep them here long enough to be fed right, be seen by a vet, get up to date on vaccinations and treated for anything that turns up in the vet visit, trimmed and shod by our farrier, and worked with by our resident trainers/handlers. Our trainers/handlers are characterized by patience, kindness, and fairness. They "listen" to the horse and don't expect more than the horse can give at their level of training. They get to know the horses individually, so we can best match them with their new owners. We will be honest to our own hurt, because we have been "done wrong" by sellers before and know the dismay of being sold a horse under false claims. We take great satisfaction in finding the horses we grow to love while here their perfect homes - and hope yours will be one of them.

7-Year-Old Thoroughbred Gelding
by Teuflesberg & out of Native Gold Dancer looks like a brand new copper penny in the sunshine. With a 2-year post-track restart and training under his belt, he has a solid framework from which to launch his career. While we will thoroughly miss this barn favorite (he has his own fan club!), we are excited for him to find his forever home and reach his show potential with his very own best friend.
Affectionate, and smart, not only is he extremely athletic and scopey but he also has a sweet, curious personality and great, willing mind.
He has had extensive ground work, trail rides alone, ponies with a golf cart, and tries his hardest no matter what new thing you present to him. Steers with the legs, soft and responsive. Very comfortable rhythmical canter he loves to show off. Would excel with an intermediate youth with a trainer. He is still a TB and although not spooky, needs someone who understands the energy. Still learning the show grounds and he needs to arrive in time to walk around and see everything before he is ready for his class.
No vices and has only had great experiences with humans. Very trusting and well behaved. Bathes, ties, stands for farrier (two front shoes), ground ties to stand still, grazes with lead rope and doesn't freak out when he steps on it, loads easily. Wears tarps, etc.
Great in the pasture 24/7 but also does fine in a stall.
This is one very special horse, and we will be very particular. We are more interested in the perfect match than in a horse sale.
