The purpose of the PTA is to allow members to access trails throughout Union Township and neighboring towns. Each member must complete an application, pay yearly dues, and carry a personal liability policy, covering horse and rider.
Portions of the trails are running through private property, through specifically designated areas, granted by the landowners.
The PTA works hard at keeping the trails cleared and safe. There are meetings every few months and a yearly party to thank the landowners for access onto their property.
If you live in the area, and are interested in joining, visit our web site using the link above, or contact any of the above members for more information.

As a Pleasure Mount, the Tennessee Walking Horse is unsurpassed. Through natural heritage, horses within this breed are intelligent, kindly disposed, and not easily excited. The timid and inexperienced horse fancier finds no problem in handling this "gentleman" among horses. The Tennessee Walking Horse excels in trial and cross country riding. He is easily handled, and the comfort of his gaits permits many pleasurable hours in the saddle, which may be English or Western type.

The Tennessee Walking Horse is ideal for people who keep horses in their own stable. He is safe and companionable when being groomed and handled. We who sponsor the breed have a challenging slogan: "Ride one today, and you'll own one tomorrow." It is certain if you have never ridden a Tennessee Walking Horse, there is a great thrill in store for you!
