Chivas (Chivas Regal)     Chivas is a 20 year old gentle 14.3 hand quarter horse. I bought Chivas 11 years ago (though I think he believes he owns me) when I first began to ride in my early thirties. At the time, he was a bit of a handful and he took full advantage of me (because he could). In a short time, we came to understand and appreciate each other. I consider him my four-legged friend. Up until February 2008, we had been boarding at a barn in Stewartsville and had been taking years of lessons in basic riding and lower level dressage. After too many years of riding in circles in a ring and doing the occasional horse show, we both agreed it was time to kick back, relax and take up trail riding. We are settling in at Hidden Creek farm and we really like it here. We look forward to fun and relaxing trail riding days with our new friends.
